Our Story

“...like the rushing of a mighty pen…” That’s what I heard as I drove down Highway 40 leaving Nashville and the 2017 GMA Dove Awards. What the Holy Ghost did as he sat upon them as cloven tongues of fire in Acts 2, I want to experience with each key stroke and strike of my pen. I always wanted readers to be so intrigued that they sought out my articles and posts. The aim of the content is to simply speak what the Lord is speaking to His people, in His timing and for His purpose.

The Journey to Genesis

The journey to Genesis is a clarion call for men to return to fellowship with God that will define your life’s purpose and even refine your life’s relationships and partnerships in a transformative way. Three scriptures inspired this writing journey: Genesis 2:15, Psalm 24:1a, and Psalm 100:3b. Then it hit me…there’s a reason I’m here! Beyond conception, beyond creation…there’s a reason! Just as God gave Adam a specific responsibility in the garden, I believe that all men have an inherent, intrinsic responsibility in the “garden” that is the world, today.

She's a Cover Girl...

“COVER GIRL” is a book about women for women. This book will give women the boldness, courage and clarity to deliver their “holy thing” for the benefit of the world. The book features power packed chapters of inspiration directly from scripture and introduces as “cover girls” many women whose stories remain largely untold, today. Along with our book, we’re launching an empowerment campaign designed to connect women everywhere to a growing network of “cover girls” who are willing to fearlessly say yes to the call of God on their lives!

This Crisis Is Not Cause for Alarm

As the spread of the Coronavirus and global infections thrust the world into a state of shock, awe, and dismay, the unknown virus upended hopefulness and expectations for greatness with the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic. Before we give in to fear and panic, it’s imperative that we take time to remember what was on the other side of the disciples’ journey to the Gadarenes. The bible tells us there was a man bound by a legion of devils and needed freedom. After seeing Jesus’ miracle in his life, the people of the region forced Jesus and the disciples to leave the coast.

Take Another Look

Just as there was a reason the shepherds were chosen to see Him first, we too have been gifted unique assignments and privileges that impact our lives and others. Jesus commanded us to be fruitful in John 15:2. Fruit and fruitfulness are a major function of life in Christ. The fruit of the shepherds’ announcement was the people hearing it, believing it, and expecting to also see Jesus. As the Word says, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word.” The Word also says, “in the mouths of two or three witnesses shall a word be established.”

Choosing Change

Choose change before change chooses you! That simple sentence can help you avoid seasons of heartbreak amid the fallout that change can bring. Change is a constant. Things are always changing. The truth is that many of us are unaware of the changes happening in and around us. After a season of sudden changes, Fred took to writing about it to garner the lessons taught by the shift brought about by sudden change. Death, loss of job and other challenges could have derailed the start of 2024, but with through the lens of change, the outlook of the remainder of the year is as bright as its beginning.

Things will happen and there’s little we’ll be able to do about them besides ‘go with the flow.’ Fred doesn’t want you to fear this because, as written in the book, “Time and change happen to us all.”

CELEBRATE OUR FIRST CLIENT RELEASE

Help us welcome Evangelist Dorothy Christian to the Mighty Pen family. In the summer of 2023, she released her initial release, “Losing Love, Finding Me” to a worldwide audience. Evangelist Christian labored over a span of two years to bring this release to fruition. She brought a manuscript but is the first to successfully complete the book readiness plan with us. Her book is available at retailers and will soon be available in our bookstore. What you will find in “Losing Love, Finding Me” is a story of a woman who triumphed beyond personal and romantic failures to finally become the woman God ordained her to be. Through her transcendent transparency, Evangelist Christian shares her stories with a sober understanding of how to lift women above the trials and circumstances they face. We know you’ll be inspired by her story and we’re thrilled to be the outlet chosen to share her stories with the world!

NEW FROM EVG. DOROTHY OWENS

LOSING LOVE, FINDING ME

The stories you read in this book came about because I was looking for love in ALL the wrong places. I wouldn’t take anything for my journey now! Whether your story reads like mine or nothing like mine at all, I want to impart that message to you. God has taken the messes I created and endured and has given me a message to share with all of you. The message is: God can still get the glory from your story, no matter what you have faced or done. You don’t have to live your life in the shadow of your mistakes. God knows our frame. He knows that even after what you thought was your biggest mess up, you may mess up again. God already knows, but you need to know that God is still by your side, fighting for you. If you just submit to Him and let Him lead you, you’ll find yourself and the love for which you’ve been searching!

“Sometimes, you read a book, and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”

-John Green, The Fault in Our Stars
